• Conformity assessment of products according to Act No. 264/1999 Coll. on technical requirements for products and on conformity assessment and on modification and completion of some laws as amended by later regulations within the scope of certification, testing and inspections. TSÚ Piešťany has authorisation for this activity granted by Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing and it uses the SKTC-104 identification.
• Attestation of products conformity according to Act No. 90/98 Coll. on construction products as amended by later regulations and by Order of the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of Slovak Republic No. 558/2009 Coll. as amended by the Order No. 119/2006 Coll. in the range of: a) carrying out of the certification of the attestation of construction products conformity, b) carrying out of the input and continuous inspections, c) carrying out of the evidentiary tests of construction products, in real scope stated by Authorisation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of Slovak Republic in Bratislava. TSÚ Piešťany applies denotation “Authorised person" reg. No. SK03 for this activity.
• TSÚ Piešťany performs according to Accreditation Certificate No. P 018 granted by Slovak National Accreditation Service according to STN EN 45011 the certification of machinery, equipment, devices and units intended to use in household, services, machinery, gas, printing, chemical and wood-working industry, certification of metallurgical products, steel ropes, consumer goods, gaming machines, glass, ceramics, china, metal packages and construction products.
• Performing of the inspection of production, products and materials within the scope of accreditation by SNAS No. I 007 as the inspection body of type A.
• Certification of quality management systems according to requirements of STN EN ISO 9001:2009 standard as CERTITECH – certification body of management systems accredited by SNAS No. Q 007 according to international standards STN EN 45012.
• Type examination of programs and verification and inspection of the operational capability of winning machines and winning ratio within the meaning of the Act No. 171/2005 Coll. on gambling as amended by later regulations.
• Verification of determined gauges – torque wrenches up to 1000 Nm in accordance with authorisation charter of the Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing No. 98/2002 according to the Act No.142/2000 Coll. on metrology. Calibration laboratory applies denotation "authorised metrological workstation" for this activity.
• Verification of determined gauges – water meters for cold water and hot household water and flow-meter parts of heat meters in accordance with authorisation charter of the Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing No. 960/142/98-07.1 according to the Act No.142/2000 Coll. on metrology. Laboratory of water meters applies denotation "authorised metrological workstation" for this activity and also verification mark M with registration number 17.
• Verification of determined gauges of sound pressure – sound level meters and integrating sound level meters, band-pass filters, measuring microphones, personal sound exposure meters, acoustic calibrator in accordance with authorisation charter of the Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing No. 960/181/99-07.1 according to the Act No.142/2000 Coll. on metrology. Calibration laboratory applies denotation "authorised metrological workstation" for this activity and also verification mark M with registration number 47.
• Calibration of the measures of length, pressure, moment of force, electrical quantities and oscilloscopes in accordance with Accreditation Certificate No. K 021 issued by Slovak National Accreditation Service according to STN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
• Calibration of sound level meters and integrating sound level meters, band-pass filters, measuring microphones, acoustic calibrators, personal sound exposure meters, measuring devices for mechanical oscillation and measures of non-linear electrical signal distortion in accordance with Accreditation Certificate No. K 016 issued by Slovak National Accreditation Service according to STN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
• Calibration of the quantity flow meters of cold and hot water and flow-meter parts of heat meters in accordance with Accreditation Certificate No. K 022 issued by Slovak National Accreditation Service according to STN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
• Service of water quantity flow-meters on the basis of the ÚNMS SR Decision on registration No. R/I-241/2001 of 19th December 2001.
• Testing of products on the basis of accreditation in GOST R Certification System according to legislation valid in Russian Federation, elaboration of protocols according to GOST standards within the scope stated by Russian Gosstandart accreditation. Consultations and advisory regarding export of products to Russian Federation.
• Technical Testing Institute Piešťany performs tests of machinery and consumer goods according to standards applicable in Belarus Republic and issues test reports. Following that, BelGISS and BelGIM issue conformity certificates, which authorise them to export products on market of Belarus Republic.
• Products certification on the basis of Accreditation Certificate No. BY/11201.1.0.0135 in Belarussian Accreditation System as the Products Certification Body for machinery and electrotechnical products and consumer goods.
• Testing, attesting and coding of packages for transport of dangerous goods used in road-, railway-, water-, sea- and air traffic according to international regulations (ADR, RID, IATA-DGR (ICAO), IMDG-Code and RTDG) on the basis of Mandate No. 1398-232/95 of the Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications of Slovak Republic of 11th May 1995.
• Monitoring and control for traceability and identification of CFC a HBFC substances (substances damaging Earth ozone layer) used in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, fire extinguishers, thermal insulation on the base of polyurethane foams, sprays and alike, resulting from the Act No. 76/1998 Coll. on protection of the Earth ozone layer.
• Mandate of the Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications of Slovak Republic to approve the type, conformity assessment and to perform tests, periodic controls and tests of transport equipment used for road transport of perishable foodstuffs in accordance with International Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs and on the Special Equipment to be Used for Such Carriage (ATP), as well as to issue certificates and certification labels for road transport equipment.
